JACKSON, LA null

No Description Available

Tag No.: K0072

Based on visual observation and interview of staff, the facility failed to assure that the means of egress was free of obstructions or impediments to full instant use of the exit passage way. Obstructions, in the egress corridor, hinder occupant egress in emergency situations. This deficient practice could potentially affect 7 of 70 residents in the facility.

1 of 4 smoke compartment was deficient.

Findings:

During the facility tour, between the hours of 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm, the following furniture was observed in the corridors:

1. Hall A1 had two chairs placed in the corridor.
2. Hall A1 and Hall A2 each had two cabinets placed in the corridor. The cabinet is currently being used to provide isolation equipment outside of the contaminated rooms.
