Based on documentation and interview with plant operations manager the facility failed to maintain Battery power emergency lights tested for 12 months. The deficient practice had the potential to 9 of 9 compartments, and approximately all 101 patients..
Findings:
During the facility tour and record review on 6/23/2010, between the hours of 8:30am and 4:40 pm, it was observed that the facility failed to tested the battery powered emergency lights each month of the year . documentation revealed emergency light were tested March, April & May the Plant operation manger stated been working here for about four weeks and he can't fine any more documentation supporting further or more inspection.
